Fort Whoop-Up a National Historic Site
Originally called Fort Hamilton, the fort was built by Montana traders operating from Fort Benton. Whithin a very short time, the soaring profits to be made trading Buffalos robes and other furs broughr other traders and numerous small posts were estabilished almost overnight thourought Blackfoot country

Fort Whoop-up, an interesting place to visit, we had a tour with the Wall's It was lots of fun.
Fort Whoop-Up, as it became known, was the largest of 110 established posts and Forts.
Because pf use pf "whiskey" to "encourage" trade, the Fort soon developed an infamous reputation.

Summer 09

What a time, finally summer is here.
We had such an incredible time with family, new friends and community.Pictures. yes tones of pictures, not here yet.
We need rain so badly, the rain is coming everyday a bit more and It is so beautiful to seek God and trust and believe. The hand of God moving and transforming, changing and molding.
He is looking for us searching for us and longing to be part of your life to heal and to set us free.

" If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn away from their wicked aways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and Heal their land" 2 Chronicles 7: 14

just a note i will came back later

A wild life with wildlife and loved ones

How life can be wild in such a calm, rural, peaceful remote area????????
I have a recipe.
Ingredients:
  • A hungry heart ( longing for God and His ways)
  • The word of God ( Bible )
  • Fellowship ( crying, laughing together, hanging out, eating together :))
  • Prayer
  • a beautiful and calm place somewhere in Alberta (hahahahahaha)
  • A happy toddler , who will bring a different flavour
  • Worship - Music, songs, a joyful noise, declaring our love for God
  • People, happy people, interesting people, shy people, eccentric people, talkative people
  • Food to share, to prepare , to roast, to BBQ, stuff to bake and shake, food to flip and flop
  • An a digital camera with a 4 GB memory card :) and a charged battery :)
Pictures talk more than words

New breath of life, we we're able to see a day old lamb, so beautiful and fragile at the same time
